MARCH 1ST

Thank you to all for your pledges for Together In Mission. We have reached our half way goal, $21,628 and only need another $20,360 to reach our pledge. If there are people here today who were absent on Pledge week and would like to make a pledge, or if you didn't make a pledge and would like to – the ushers will hand out the envelopes now. Please fill out the form and the ushers will pick them up at the end of Mass. Again, thank you very much.

Metro bus discount vouchers will be available today after the 12:15 Mass only.

Our first Lenten Soup supper is this Monday at 6:30pm in the Herbert Johnson Hall. We will learn about Taize prayer and have an opportunity to pray in this style. I hope many of you can join us.

The Vincent de Paul Society is hosting a fish fry each Friday during Lent beginning this Friday, March 6th. It will begin at 5:30pm. There are flyers at the doors of the Church.

FEB. 21ST -22ND

I apologize in the lateness of reporting the finals in our Pastor's Awards dinner raffle winners. Our Queen is Mildred Collins who sold over 49 books of tickets. Our King is Manuel Lopez who sold over 25 books of tickets. I would like to thank all of the candidates who worked so hard to help St. Agatha's. We made $12,000 on the raffle. I know that our awardees, Shirley Jackson, Humberto Sanchez and Juanita Acevedo had a great night.

We will be taking nominations for next years awardees in September.

Marcia Lewis will have a notebook with job opportunities, as well as help on how to write a resume etc. next week in Rm.4 of the school after all the Sunday Masses.

Metro bus discount ticket vouchers are available after each mass today in the hall. These can be used by Seniors, persons with disabilities, school and college students, EZ riders and regular riders to get a discount on the total cost of a weekly or monthly bus pass.

We are taking sign ups for our Blood drive on March 8th after all Masses this week-end. Please consider giving the gift of life for someone in need.

Coffee and Donuts are in the Hall. I hope you can join us for a celebration of life from 2-4 in the Hall this afternoon.
