FEB. 27TH-28TH

Today is the last day to sign up for the Blood Drive which will be held next Sunday from 8am till 2pm. Please stop by the table and help out the Red Cross.

 

We are also taking sign ups for pictures for our Parish directory. These will be taken only on March 7^th, so don't miss out on the opportunity to be in our Directory. Sign ups are at the table behind Church.

 

Please mark your calendar for the SHARE ministries annual Spring Bake Sale on March 14^th. If you wish to donate a home baked item please bring it on Sat. March 13 between 1-5pm to the Parish Office conference room.

 

We will be having a reunion for the Rome Pilgrims on March 14^th from 11:30am till around 1pm. We will also have more information on the trip to Egypt and the Holy Land and will be taking sign ups for those who are interested on that day.

 

Don't forget to attend the Soup Supper this Monday evening. We will have two of our own, Michelle Hilley and Norma Morales, giving the talk on "The Stations of the Cross through the eyes of Mary". Soup will be provided by the Eucharistic Ministers.

 

There is a delicious breakfast in the Hall being hosted by the Youth Ministry. They are also taking orders for See's Easter Eggs and candy to help them get to WYD 2011.

FEB. 20TH-21ST

We will have the ushers hand out envelopes to those who did not get a chance to make your pledge to Together In Mission. Please don't forget to put St. Agatha down as your parish so that we will receive credit for your pledge. We need everyone to give something to help us reach our goal of $45, 115. Thank you.

 

Our Blood Drive will be on Sunday, March 7^th from 8am until 2pm. Please stop by the table and sign up to give life to someone.

We have been given another chance to have pictures taken for our Pictorial Directory. We were so late in getting pages to them that we now have an opportunity for those of you who could not avail of it last winter. Life Touch will be her on Sunday, March 7 and 21^st to take pictures. Please sign up soon as there are not many slots. You can stop by the table today, or call the office to see what is available.

 

Our first Lenten Soup supper is this Monday, Feb. 26^th at 7pm. Fr. Stan Bosch will be our speaker. I hope you can join us in the hall. Religious Education will be supplying the soup.

We would like to offer a program sponsored by USC Norris Cancer, the Association of Black Women Physicians and the Real Men Cook Foundation Center to women in our Parish who have weight problems. If you would be interested in learning about this, please see Sr. Karen for further information.

 

We have long needed a Bereavement Group in our Parish. The Archdiocese is offering a training starting on March 10^th at Holy Name of Jesus Church. If you think this is a way you could reach out to your fellow parishioner's in their hour of need, please talk to Sr. Karen for further information.

 

Our Rome Pilgrims will be having a reunion with pictures to share, on March 14^th in the hall after the 10am Mass. Please plan on joining us. We will have information about an upcoming Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, Mt. Sinai and Cairo in the near future. We will be going in Nov. of 2011.

 

Coffee and Donuts are in the hall today after all Masses.
