ANNOUNCEMENTS MARCH 3RD -4TH ANNOUNCEMENTS MARCH 3RD -4TH

We have been asked to help with a bus going to the prisons' for Mother's Day. What we need are around 5 people who would be willing to be here at St. Agatha's on Sat. May 12th at 3am to meet the people and give them breakfast and help load the bus. We do not need to go on the bus. If this is something you might be able to do, please see Gloria after Mass today outside of church.

As you know there are many things around here that break or need fixing. We had this happen this week to the washer and dryer in the Rectory. If there are any parishioner's who might be able to help us in paying for these items, please see Sr. Karen.

Hope to see you Monday night at the Soup Supper when Fabian Debora, a local artist, will be sharing with us. Don't forget the fish fry dinners on Friday either. You can eat here or take it home.

We had a wonderful victory on Wednesday at the City Council when they voted unanimously in favor of the Bank Ordinance. Thank you to all who have hung in there over the last two years to attend meetings and meetings and meetings to get this to vote. We did it!! This is social justice in action!!

There are no coffee and donuts today because of the Blood Drive. Please remember to keep your appointment.

Next Sunday March 11, everyone is invited to celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the Parish Hall after the 10:00 a.m. mass. There will be Irish music and dancers. Contact Donal O'Sullivan for more information.

We regret to announce that Ethel Singleton, Sylvia Davis' mom, has departed to the Lord. Her funeral will be on Thursday, March 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery.

10:00 a.m. Mass only: Good news! Starting next Sunday, March 11th, the Children Liturgy of the Word will be back. We have a new coordinator: Essence Stamps (Essence, if you are present please stand up). Please pass the word around. We are anxious to see your children come and learn with us the word of the Lord.
